Walk by the Center Bar in the heart of the Rocksino to lay your eyes on Eddie Van Halen’s chopped hog, check out the window displays for costumes from other great rockers like Ike and Tina Turner, or the Jackson 5. With about 200,000 square feet of pure excitement you'll find your self surrounded by memorabilia from the legends of arena rock. Conveniently located 20 miles southeast of downtown Cleveland and 20 miles north of Akron the place is hopping with a new vibe and unforgettable moments 24 hours a day. After all, Ohio is the birthplace of Rock and Roll (Cleveland's Alan Freed coined the term when he named his radio show the Moondog Rock and Roll Radio Hour on WJW). Whether you come for the entertainment, great food, rock and roll, the race track next door, or the exhilarating gaming this is a one of a kind experience, even for long term and well traveled Hard Rockers.
Now, visitors can experience the world's first Hard Rock Rocksino at Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park. The original Sportsman Park here was opened in 1934 by Al Capone and featured midget car racing, it was demolished in 1956 and became one of the nation's premier harness racing tracks, Northfield Park.
